GETTING THERE...

Completing the background of this piece really is an exercise in patience and concentration....two things I am sorely without these days.  But, after many many hours in the Happy Chair, methinks I can stand back a bit and see a fair amount of progress.

I'm really using this as a lesson in perseverance since my default position is to chuck this back up into the studio and move on to something else, but for some reason I feel compelled to stick with it to the bitter end.  

(At least to the bitter end of that background!)

The birds are sweetly tweeting today and the landscape guys are mulching, which means both Stewey and Bosco have been running from the front door to the back door to the front door and back again....barking and barking and barking.  Oey.  

Appointments this afternoon, and then I think I'll get right back to it.  Here's hoping that you are having a Happy Thursday!
